How does Pakuranga Rewards work? How do I collect points?

Pakuranga Rewards offers customers the chance to take advantage of exclusive offers and treats across three levels; Bronze, Silver and Gold.

Rewards begin on the Bronze level, simply collect points as you shop to move up to Silver and Gold Rewards.

Points are collected each time you spend $25 or more in a single transaction from any participating retailer at Pakuranga Plaza.

Just 10 points unlock Silver Rewards, and 40 points give you access to the exclusive Gold Rewards.

To collect points simply present the barcode on the app on your phone or your Pakuranga Rewards card at participating stores and restaurants when you make a purchase of $25 or more.

Can I see what is on offer on the next tier?

You can see all the available offers from your current rewards level and below when you use the Pakuranga Rewards App. Offers for the next tier will be shaded. Card users will receive email updates tailored to their requested preferences.

Do the offers on each tier change? Are they regularly updated?

We want to make sure shoppers have a great experience and we’ll regularly change and update offers throughout the year.

Can I still access offers in below tiers?

Yes. You will get offers for both the tier you are on as well as the tiers below – for
example, Silver members will get access to Bronze offers and Gold tier members will have access to all three tiers.

How do I check the balance of my points?

It’s easy to check your points balance – use the App to view your points balance on your phone. And registered card holders will get regular email updates of their points balances.

Does the app work on all phones?

You can download the app on most smart phones. Android devices will need to be version 4.0 or later. The app is supported by iPhones with iOS7 or later.

What if my mobile phone doesn’t support the app – can I still participate?

Yes. Rewards cards are available to use for the Rewards scheme. These are available from participating retailers as well as our Customer Services desk located in centre.

What happens to my points if I move from the card to the app?

If you have a card and are switching to an app, all your points will be automatically transferred from your card during the registration process. This is done using the unique user number on the back of your card.

How do I know when I’ve moved to the next tier?

App users can access all the information on the app and also via email.
For card users, you will need to register to receive email updates.

Can anyone join the scheme?

The loyalty app is available to everyone aged 14 and over. Retail staff and Pakuranga Plaza employees are also eligible to use the scheme. Please see Terms & Conditions for more information.

What do you do with my Data?

We are committed to protecting the privacy of our members and will store your data in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993. Please see Terms & Conditions for more information.

What do I do if I lose my card?

If you lose your card, please contact (09) 978 9100 or email rewards@pakurangarewards.co.nz so we can cancel your card. Due to a limit in the number of cards available we may not always be able to provide a replacement card. On these occasions, members can still participate through Pakuranga Rewards App using the same email used for initial sign-up. For replacement cards/apps, members should always use the original email address used when signing up.

Pakuranga Plaza is not responsible for any unauthorised use of your Pakuranga Rewards card which may be made by a third party whilst it is lost or stolen.

What if I change or lose my phone?

The App can easily be transferred over to your new device in the same way as other apps change over. Simply login as usual to access your user information on your new phone.

What if I forget my PIN?

Don’t worry if you lose your pin. Simply create a new PIN by completing the sign-up process again with your original email address. Your new PIN will be emailed to you.

What if I didn’t show my phone during the transaction or my battery died before the point of transaction – can I still get my points?

Unfortunately, points cannot be collected after a purchase has been made. Points must be allocated when your phone/card is present at the point of sale. Should there be a fault with the scanner when making your purchase, you should be directed to another till where points can be added.

If I get refunded for a purchase I made while collecting points – will the points be taken off?

Your points will not be collected for refunds. Please see the Terms & Conditions for more information.

If I spend more than $25 in a single transaction – will I get more than one point?

Only one point is allocated per transaction of $25 or more spent at a retailer in a single day.

If I make numerous purchases over $25 at the same retailer in one day – do I qualify for more than one point?

No. Only one point can be generated in one transaction at a unique retailer per day.

I am no longer getting Pakuranga Rewards emails?

Remember to add the email address to your safe senders list: rewards@pakuranga.co.nz to make sure it doesn’t get blocked from your account. If you are experiencing difficulty receiving emails, please contact our Customer Service team on (09) 978 9100 who will be happy to check your details.

What if I don’t want to take part in the scheme anymore?

To exit the scheme simply delete the app from your mobile phone and unsubscribe from the Pakuranga Rewards emails. If you have a Pakuranga Rewards card simply dispose of it and unsubscribe from the emails. An unsubscribe link is included with all Pakuranga Rewards emails.

What if I don’t want to take part in the scheme anymore?

To exit the scheme simply delete the app from your mobile phone and unsubscribe from the Pakuranga Rewards emails. If you have a Pakuranga Rewards card simply dispose of it and unsubscribe from the emails. An unsubscribe link is included with all Pakuranga Rewards emails.
